



XIE AIGE
Bhutan Duty Free, in collaboration with Ode to Art and internationally acclaimed sculptor Xie Aige, presents A Journey Between Heaven, Humanity and Self — an exclusive sculptural collection inspired by Bhutan’s spiritual heritage and created in tribute to the 108 Stupa Project at Gelephu Mindfulness City.
Drawing from Bhutan’s landscapes, timeless traditions and philosophy of Gross National Happiness, the collection explores the connection between humanity, nature and the inner self.
Created as Limited-Edition Bhutan Exclusives, these collectible works will be available only at Bhutan Duty Free, with the collection arriving at Bhutan Duty Free Paro Departure, Thimphu store and Choego Building, Gelephu from 1 November 2026.
Above the Clouds
A gilded figure sits in meditation on a black branch above a white cloud, a small bird for company. Stillness above the noise of the world. 26.5 × 13 × 26.8 cm.
A meditative figure rests upon a cloud between earth and sky, accompanied by a tree and bird. Together, they evoke stillness, reflection, and the quite bond between humanity and nature. The birds carries a sense of freedom and awakening the seated figure, humanity before the vastness above.
The Sanctuary Within
A gilded figure walks towards a black gateway and pagoda, a white cloud drifting between. The journey inward, towards a sanctuary that was always there. 22 × 12 × 26.8 cm.
Among the Snow peaks of Bhutan rests peaceful santuary, a quite passage into reflection and peace. The work sugusts that within each of us lies such a place – a refuge of peace, hope, and spiritual fulfilment.
Upon the Tree
A figure stands on a strong, gazing towards a golden bird resting on a tree. Rooted in the earth yet reacing toward the sky, the tree becomes a path of growth and undrestang. The bird embodies freedom,, hope and awakening.
The figure does not reach for it, but simply looks on – an image of mindfulness, wonder,and the grace of appreciating without possessing.
